The Celerity Of Time

Why is it that time goes byAt such a rapid paceWhy lost in every little sighAre moments that we waste

What benefit does Time assumeTo age us quick and fastAnd what is offered to the tombIf moments never last

I ask to simply satisfyA need to understandWho profits when I say goodbyeWhose kingdom will expand
