Acceptance

I never thought I’d end up hereIn such a lonely placeAnd never thought I’d have this lookOf sadness on my face

And lying here all by myselfThis pain I can’t denyYet nothing I can do will stopThe days from passing by

But how was I to know that lifeWould toss me this surpriseAnd how was I to know these tearsWould pour down from my eyes
