A Day Of Sorrow

Shattered dreams we borrowShed pain upon the morrowA day of constant sorrowA painful omen of tomorrow

Our hearts have all been brokenOur fears have all been wokenA cruel and heartless tokenOf hatred left unspoken

And tears fall down in mournOur families sadly tornOur bodies weak and wornIn blood our streets adorn

Yet through the clouds of dustWhile crying in disgustWe stand so proud and justFor God we all do trust
