In 2004 I moved to Evansville, Indiana to start a photography business. I spent 7 years shooting mostly weddings, but also did several family and senior portrait sessions. Mostly, however, I Loved nature photography, and would escape whenever I could to a park or countryside to fire away. Below are some of the images I captured during that time, and several of these were published in my 2006 book titled Distant Lands of Solitude. You can see more about that book by clicking on the Books link at the top. These images will be available for purchase eventually from this website.

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

– Elliott Erwitt

“Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.”

– Matt Hardy
